Donor Engagement Manager

As a Donor Engagement Manager, Beth’s role is to engage donors and the community in the fundraising efforts of Pillars. Beth works with the rest of the Community Engagement team to carry out fundraising and development goals for the organization. She started her career with Homeless Connections in 2013 as Volunteer & Special Events Coordinator. She took a position with Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs in 2016, but returned to Homeless Connections as the Community Relations Director a year later. When Homeless Connections became part of Pillars, Beth’s role shifted to Donor Engagement Manager. She began her career with the Building for Kids Children’s Museum, where she managed visitor services staff, and the History Museum at the Castle, where she assisted with educational programming. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a major in art, gallery and museum practices, and a minor in arts and non-profit management. Beth was awarded the Pulse Fox Cities 2017 Future 15 Award which recognizes emerging talent in the Fox Cities. Since moving to Appleton, Beth has combined her art skills with service to the community as a volunteer and through commissioned projects for Building for Kids Children’s Museum, Appleton Public Library, Fox Valley Memory Project, and the Fox Valley Symphony.
