Joe has two primary responsibilities. The first is to make sure Pillars is properly focused to meet the homelessness and housing needs of the community. The second is to serve the members of the Pillars team and ensure they effectively carry out its important mission within the community. Prior to this role, Joe served as Executive Director of the Housing Partnership of the Fox Cities for five years. Before then, Joe worked at Kimberly-Clark and Plexus in various human resources leadership roles. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Norbert College and a Master’s Degree in business administration from Marquette University. He was part of the Fox Cities’ Social Innovation Leadership Experience, class of 2015, and serves on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Veterans Village Association. Joe has been married for over 30 years. He and his wife enjoy spending time with family (three grown sons, daughter-in-law, and new granddaughter), as well as adventures at their cabin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, reading, being active in their church and serving as a “Big Couple” to a young man through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
