Events Manager

As an Events Manager, Lisa’s job is to partner with the organization’s events committees to create, plan and oversee fundraising and community engagement events. In her half-time role, she lends support to various fund development and engagement opportunities by coordinating and participating in special events that connect Pillars with the community. Prior to working for Pillars, Lisa was a long-time volunteer at Homeless Connections (now Pillars Adult and Family Shelter). In that role, she assisted with events, human resources and administrative tasks. Before Pillars, she was employed at a large church and coordinated many events in her role there. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys gardening, reading, taking long walks with her husband and her dogs and spending time with her four children and six grand-children.
