Before becoming the Community Engagement Director, Matt joined Pillars in October 2020 as the Development Manager. He graduated from UW-Green Bay with a bachelor’s degree in non-profit management and worked for more than six years at the National Railroad Museum, specifically in development and fundraising.
His favorite part of his job is having the opportunity to connect people with giving hearts to an organization with a great mission. Matt believes anything is possible when those two things align.
When he is not at work, Matt enjoys spending time outside hiking, camping, fishing, golfing, and playing volleyball and ultimate frisbee. On the weekends, he and his wife can be found wandering around local flea markets, visiting breweries, and catching live music wherever they can find it.
