As an Events Manager, Sam’s job is to partner with the organization’s events committees to create, plan, and oversee fundraising and community engagement events. In her half-time role, she lends support to various fund development and engagement opportunities by coordinating and participating in special events that connect Pillars with the community. Before the merger, Samantha was Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator for two years at Homeless Connections. She graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with Associate Degrees in marketing and business management. Prior to Pillars, she worked as a project manager in the process development area in the manufacturing industry. In her free time, you can find Samantha exploring state and national parks with her family, reading about true crime, or experimenting in the kitchen.
