As Resource Center Manager, Tricia assists in developing daily programming and bringing resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. She oversees a program where, in a safe environment, clients can stay on track with recovery plans, discover employment opportunities and find friendship and support. Prior to the merge, she served for several years as Prevention Program Case Manager at what was then Homeless Connections. Over the past ten years, Tricia worked as an adjunct instructor teaching undergraduate psychology courses at several colleges and universities. Her professional experience has included working as a child welfare case manager in Chicago, an at-risk youth counselor, an equine-assisted practitioner and at several positions in the adoption and foster care arenas. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and her Master’s Degree in psychology, emphasis in health psychology, from National Louis University. She has expanded her knowledge of client-centered approaches by completing the University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension Motivational Interview Professional Certificate program and is a certified trauma professional. In her free time, she enjoys animals and time with her family.
