Beyond the Myths: How People Access Homelessness Services

August 6th | 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.

Join us for a candid conversation about how people access homelessness and housing services in our community with Coordinated Entry. Using a myth-versus-reality format, our panelists will address common misconceptions about how the system works, who it serves, and what happens after someone completes an assessment. Panelists, Liz Croley – Coordinated Entry Specialist for the City of Appleton and Paige Johnson – Pillars Supportive Services Program Manager, will share their expertise, stories, and data to reflect the realities of Coordinated Entry.

Whether you’re a community member, volunteer, client, donor, advocate, landlord, or service provider, this virtual Conversation Over Coffee will provide valuable insight into the realities of homelessness services, and the barriers people face on the path to stable housing.

Conversations Over Coffee is a great way to learn about issues facing our community and ways you can help individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing challenges. Be sure to bring your questions for the Q&A following the discussion. You can join us for all or part of this free, virtual event.
