Sadie joined Pillars in August 2023 as Marketing & Communications Coordinator. She previously worked in events and communications for a domestic abuse agency and completed an internship with the Green Bay Packers in program planning. Sadie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Her favorite part of her job is being able to tell the story of Pillars and raise awareness in the community. When asked where she finds her inspiration, she said, “Knowing that I am part of something bigger than myself truly motivates me and gives me a sense of fulfillment. Even though my role is not client-facing, I love knowing that I can use my creative skills to better an agency that addresses a cause close to my heart. Pillars was also built on collaboration, with three agencies coming together to form one to better serve the community, and that makes me extremely excited as a person who is passionate about access to services. Lastly, as a resident of Appleton, I love being part of a nonprofit that is making my community a better place.”
Outside of work, Sadie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Her little family is a huge fan of the Milwaukee Bucks and they will spend the season watching every single game, whether in person or on TV. Her personal hobbies include music, as she has been singing and playing the piano since she was in first grade. Sadie also enjoys spending time with her parents and siblings, as well as her niece and nephew.
