Pillars Supportive Housing

Pillars Supportive Housing provides a critical “next-step” out of shelter and is designed to meet the unique needs of specific populations, including families fleeing domestic violence, young adults with mental health challenges, veterans in need of a home and individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. Supportive Housing provides affordable housing along with direct support and case management. Programs include It Takes a Village, Permanent Supportive Housing, Rapid Re-Housing, Transitional Housing, Veterans Transitional Housing, Single Room Occupancy and Ascend Young Adult Initiative.

Ascend is the only program with a direct application process. Applicants must be 18-25 years old and living with mental health challenges. Call 734-9192, Option 5, to contact Ascend.

Pillars receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and/or a federal, state or local public or private entity to provide services for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. In order to receive this funding, this agency must participate in the Wisconsin Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), which is administered by the Institute for Community Alliances.
