Jennie Moore Named New Client Services Director

Jennie Moore has joined the Pillars Leadership Team as Client Services Director. Jennie comes to Pillars with over 23 years of experience in nonprofits. Her career started as a case manager, and most recently she was responsible for leading programs over the 35-county territory of Goodwill Industries North Central Wisconsin.

As Client Services Director, Jennie’s main responsibility is the development of the client services team, which consists of crisis housing, prevention and diversion, street outreach, and supportive services. Additional duties include creating partnerships and furthering community collaboration.

Executive Director Lisa Strandberg says, “Jennie’s missional passion, organizational savvy, and deep empathy mean that she sees both the need for change and the need to balance change with care and compassion.”

Jennie’s skill set includes leadership coaching and mentoring, cultivating deep connections, and multi-operations management. Jennie holds a BA in social work from UWGB and is a 2017 graduate of the Nonprofit Leadership Institute and the Center for Exceptional Leadership.

When asked about her new role as Client Services Director, Jennie said, “I love creating connections, providing support, and seeing people achieve their goals. I am devoted to collaboration and partnerships to further the mission of Pillars.”

The new Client Services Director role combines the responsibilities of Pillars’ former Supportive Services Director role and the Crisis Housing Director role. The decision to meld the two roles followed vacancies in both positions. This change aims to unify the client services team in keeping with the goal of the 2018 merger that formed Pillars: to provide excellent client service with warm hand-offs between programs.
